'Trunk Shows' are an opportunity to design a custom heirloom piece no matter where you are – appointments will be held by phone! You will have the chance to speak with our talented art director to discuss the Sticks piece of your dreams.

What is a Sticks Trunk Show? (FAQ at the bottom of page.)
- You'll collaborate directly with our Sticks art director, Michelle, to design a custom piece of art or furniture. From wall plaques to bedroom sets, this is a great opportunity to create an heirloom piece for your home that will last for years to come! *The perfect time to design holiday gifts and decor!*
- Add personal imagery, words, and colors to match your space. Need custom specs for a structure you like? Let us know, we can make that happen.
- Communicate by phone during your appointment to brainstorm your custom Sticks piece. Concepts and drawings will be sent via email for approval.
Why is it called a 'trunk show'?
A trunk show is traditionally when an artist packs up all their works to sell on the road. For many years, Sticks packed up and traveled to various galleries to hold custom-design trunk shows. We have so many customers in all corners of the US, and we want our custom design events to be accessible to everyone. Today, in the age of computers and smartphones, we offer trunk show appointments by phone call! Our art director, Michelle, will be on the call facilitating conversation to make sure you still have a very personal experience to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece of art for you or someone you love!

Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the virtual meeting?
Each appointment is booked for one hour. Reminder: we are located in central standard time zone and we will call you at your scheduled time!
How much does this cost?
We require a $150 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot. That deposit will be applied to the final price of your piece. The final price will be quote based on your discussion following the meeting.
Where can I look for product inspiration?
Browse through our product selection. We can customize design format, imagery, words and color. Love something from the website? Be sure to write down the ‘image name’ in the product description, so we can reference it during the meeting!
How do I pick colors?
Search for your favorite piece on our website. We can incorporate other colors and we can complement fabrics, walls and décor in the space where your custom piece will go. We also like to know what colors you DON’T want to see on your piece. Our artists will take this information and create a gorgeous, cohesive color palette on the piece.
Who will be on the call?
You'll get to speak with one of our artistic directors, Michelle! Michelle has worked at Sticks for 25 years and is involved in the entire creative process for Sticks pieces. Someone from our sales team will also be on the call. They'll be able to answer any questions leading up to your call and be your point-person throughout your custom project. They’ll make a wonderful, collaborative team with you!
